creative H20

We are doing art time daily, and today we used the Aqua doodle mat and a bowl of water along with a basting brush (how resourceful is that?HA) or hands and fingers! A Montessori teacher recently told me "a lot of the resources you need to teach a toddler are right under your nose at home, just be resourceful and think outside of the box".

You can tell by the look on his face he LOVES this! Toddler sized handprints all over!

You are worried about seeing him spend his early years in doing nothing. What! Is it nothing to be happy? Nothing to skip, play, and run around all day long? Never in his life will he be so busy again. ~Jean-Jacques Rousseau, Emile, 1762

That's the same on we have. Jake thought I went and picked blue out especially for him. He said "Thanks mom! You got me my favorite color!"
