A different kind of post...

Heather and Mike Spohrs' (a.k.a.The Spohrs are Multiplying) gorgeous little Maddie passed away unexpectedly on April 7, 2009. Heather was posting twitter updates all along the way until they intubated little Maddie.

I don't know them personally, but as a mom and fellow blogger and twitter reader, it hit tugged at my heartstrings and I shed tears for the loss of a child that I didn't even know. I can't imagine the pain they're facing.

This Full House, A Mom Two Boys (go to her link to find out ways to send any thoughts/prayers to the family) and 5 Minutes for Mom have posted how to help.... Mike and Heather (Maddie's parents) don't want flowers, instead, they want donations to a fund to help other babies have a healthy start.

Nothing can fill their void, or mend their shattered hearts, but a little donation goes a long way to helping other parents who may be facing the same rough road ahead. Maybe with the donations, there will be more research toward how to save babies who deal with medical complications as Maddie did.

Oh, thanks so much for passing on this information. We have to help as many as we can and it's even harder to see someone in our community lose a child, really makes it hit home. Thanks, girl.
