six sweetest treats

I haven't participated in Small Talk Six lately, and well - I could use some small talk!! This week's topic is 6 of your favorite sweet treats in the whole world! I think I'm a pretty simpleminded girl when it comes to sweet treats - so I decided to put mine in photos :-)

1. White Chocolate Raspberry Cheesecake - I could plant my face in it.... but that wouldn't be ladylike, now would it???
2. Caramello........ well - I sneak one of these sweet treats for myself when I make it to the grocery store alone, which isn't often - but still. Yum.
3. Krispy Kreme doughnuts, I prefer the lemon filled. And warm, yes please.
4. Lemon meringue Pie - Edwards is good from the grocery store, but my grandma could make the best!
5. Chocolate Turtles - My hubs gets me these for EVERY holiday or celebration. LOVE THEM.
6. Last but not least - Starbucks Mocha Latte. MMMM.... now - if I could just get a Starbucks Mocha w/ a Krispy Kreme doughnut in the same place - that would be amazing!!

Small Talk Six - what I'm gonna miss...

Today’s Small Talk Six topic is “6 things you’ll miss (or won’t miss) about summer.”

1. I'm going to miss little feet splashing in the water on the slip n slide.
2. I'll miss all the beautiful wildflowers.
3. I'll miss the boys having water fights and sprinkler fun.
4. mmmm.... I'll miss the cherries.
5. I'll miss the beach... even though we can visit it anytime, it's the most fun in the summer for us!
6. I'll miss butterflys that seem to be EVERYWHERE right now!!

Small Talk Six - 6 Lazy things...

Today’s topic at for Small Talk Six at momdot is “6 things people do that you think are beyond lazy.” You can answer this with a list of 6 words, 6 phrases, 6 sentences, 6 paragraphs, 6 photos, 6 videos, etc . .

I'll admit, I'm guilty of one or two of these!!

1. Vacuuming over a large piece of trash over and over and over and checking to see what's wrong with the vacuum instead of just picking up the trash!!


2. Throwing socks with holes into the hamper over and over (and letting them get washed) instead of just putting them in the trash.


3. Turning the dryer on over and over to re-fluff the clothes that are in it, instead of just getting them out and hanging them up (I'm SO guilty of this at times!!).


4. Putting what looks to be 1 ounce of milk back into the fridge in the container, instead of tossing it out and putting the container in the recycle bin... who can use that amount of milk???


5. Not flushing a public restroom toilet. Seriously LAZY and GROSS! I've seen enough pee and poo between my two kids - not interested in some lazy grown up's .... especially at a restaurant. EWW.


6. People who leave their garbage in the seat at the movie theatre. OH that annoys me!!! You bought it, you ate it - you toss it out!! Lazy and inconsiderate. :-(

Small Talk Six - 6 skillz I sometimes wish I had

Some days I like doing Meme's because there random, and most of them are short.... they're fun for me because I get to read other people's views and opinions and it's all done in good fun!!


Today’s Small Talk Six topic is what are “6 talents you wish you possessed?” Add them like you want, 6 pictures, 6 sentences, 6 paragraphs, 6 videos or 6 words. You can go here to read more small talk, and even participate if you'd like!

1. I'd love to be able to draw!! My husband's AWESOME at it, but I can screw up a stick figure :) so, it'd be nice to draw!
2. I'd love to be able to sing... again, husband can sing like nobodies business. Just think it'd be cool for one day to be able to do that.
3. Knitting.... ahh - there's definitely a talent required there. I'm learning, but I'm not at ALL confident in it! I wish I could sit and whip up baby booties for some random babies somewhere, because knit baby booties are just the bee's knee's!
4. Fondant Cakes... I have only purchased one of these babies in my life. I knew a woman who did this on the side for extra family income and she's an incredible talent. The cake looked like it was fake it was so pretty!!! I wish I had the talent to create such a work of art that was edible!!!
5. I wish I had the talent to read someones mind... does that even count???because it's impossible I suppose?!?!? Reading minds v/s assuming - tough one. I'd rather be able to read minds. Either way, it'd save alot of trouble just to know what people are thinking all along. That's a toss up, to know or not to know... hmmm.. still it'd be cool to have the gift just for a day I guess. That'd have been super cool during the presidential race huh??
6. I wish I had better foresight, not sure if that counts as a talent either, but it's one which I plan to aim high for.
