Just rummaging through the photos from when we went to the lazy 5 ranch on Mothers Day and I ran across this one....
I'm never in pictures, because I'm usually the person taking them, so when the hubs decided to take some pics of me and the boys it didn't turn as well as planned.... I should post the entire set of photos that he took during the time at this fence, but this one is just funny to me.... one kid is really worried about the gigantic set of horns coming up after us, the other kid is in some other world, and me - I look like I have a cow horn in my head and of course, I'm in NO way prepared for a photo!!! These are the best kinds of memories for me, absolutely random moments with the kids.
Sure was a big set of horns on that one...

I know- the quest for a good photo of momma and the kiddies will always continue
I like the photos that aren't prepared too. This one turned out great. That is a huge longhorn, huh?
Happy WW from Sara @ the Mostly Wordless Wednesday H.Q.!

Those are big horns.
That is a great photo and I bet you have fond memories of that day.
Cool shot. I might be a little nervous if I saw those horns coming at me too.
Happy WW!
Forgot to mention I passed you an award on my blog.
I think I would be a little worried about it coming through the fence too! lol
Love that picture! Those are some big horns!
Did you totally jump away when you turned around and saw them, um, that close to you!? haha! Good shot. :)
Dude, I never could have sat that close to that animal. Scary!

Is that a longhorn standing next to you, or are you just happy to see me? *atrocious grin and wink*

I read your comment for Shana/Gorilla Buns. My sympathies to you on your young, dear brother's passing.) I too have had sudden onset anaphylaxis and after every allergy test known to man we cannot find out what the hell it was caused by...when I arrived in the E.R. I was told I was one stop sign away from dying...but if it helps, I felt no pain and could've closed my eyse and gone peacefully...which I pray your brother did. The scariest of all is that my teenaged daughter went into anaphylactic shock during cancer treatment and they don't know why either...carry your epi-pen all the time!
I think I might have been worried about getting hit with one of those horns, too!
Those are some huge horns! I agree with the searching for photos as moms are always the ones taking the pics!
Oh my...those horns are so big!
This picture makes me laugh :-)
