useless info Wednesday edition

I didn't post this on Monday, so I thought I'd go ahead and post it today....
Facts:
  1. 111,111,111 multiplied by 111,111,111 equals 12,345,678,987,654,321
  2. 7% of Americans think Elvis is alive.
  3. 13 people a year are killed by vending machines falling on them.
  4. The average child laughs 400 times a day. The average adult laughs 9 times a day.
  5. There are 132 rooms in the White House.
  6. "Star Trek" creator Gene Roddenberry's ashes (in a lipstick-sized container) orbited the earth for six years. The journey ended in 1997 when they burnt up during re-entry into earth's atmosphere. {{dad - that one was for you}}
  7. A cow has four stomachs!
  8. A piece of paper cannot be folded on itself more than seven times. Try it!
  9. OLD LAW still on the books: In Tucson, Arizona, it is illegal for women to wear pants!
  10. A nanometer is the length that your thumbnail grows in one second.

I'm thankful that the elections are over. I'm interested to see where this will take us.

We just learned about the cow's 4 stomachs and how they function (which is why the cow chews its cud) and it was a DISGUSTING lesson. Science precedes lunch on Mondays, but no one wanted lunch after that for some reason. WREEETCH. Our science book painted a very vivid mental picture for us. BLUGH!
